Dear Parent, Well-Wisher
A thought on reimagining education finds a place in every season of a new academic year among parents seeking admission for their wards and school leaders. The key UNESCO report on education for the 21st century, chaired by Jacques Delors, is titled “Learning: The Treasure Within.” It underlines the immense potential present in human beings and brings out the best in an individual through learning.
School, as a location, creates the right experiences for learning. It encompasses the physical infrastructure and the core values of the school. Here at St. Anselm's, Mansarovar, caring for children and feeling accountable for their holistic progress form the basis of every decision. An atmosphere of non-intimidation and space for freedom of thought is provided. Minds that question beliefs and practices to achieve critical consciousness are encouraged.
We believe that education includes imparting theoretical knowledge as well as practical learning of all kinds, and the process of inculcating and developing values, ideals, attitudes, skills, proper habits, ways of behaving, aspirations, and growth. The academic curriculum and co-curricular activities are designed to foster holistic development. Periodic assessment of learning provides a platform to track progress, identify gaps, and improve learning.
Regular Parent–Teacher Meetings are scheduled to discuss a child’s performance in academics, behaviour, and social skills. Such meetings foster collaboration among the major stakeholders, assist in the identification of problems at an early stage, and above all, ensure aligned support from home and school.
As you join our school community for the new academic session, we are thrilled to partner with you in providing a nurturing and enriching learning environment for your ward.
Warm regards
Principal
