St. Anselm's Sr. Sec. School, Mansarovar, Jaipur established in 1991, is one of the many Christian Minority Schools run by the Gyan Deep Education Society of Jaipur and is under the management of the Diocese of Jaipur.
It is situated in Sector - 6 of the township of Heera path, Mansarovar, Jaipur and aims at imparting a sound, intellectual, physical and moral education to the students both boys & girls. Under the able guidance of the First Principal Rev. Fr. Leo Moras (1991-1998) the school saw a fruitful and productive phase of development. Later, Rev. Fr. Melvin Jobard’s (1998-2006) efficacious principalship carried the school to the secondary and senior secondary level. Then came Rev. Fr. Edward Oliveira (2006-2014) under whose able and experienced principalship the school brought laurels to its name and various opportunities for the all-round development of a student was provided as per CCE norms. In the year 2014 Rev. Fr Thomas Maniparambil joined as the new Principal. During his tenure, he brought changes in the academic strategy of the school, consequently strengthening the roots of this pious institution In January 2015, Rev. Fr. Victor Raj took over as the new Principal. His dexterity, sincerity, innovativeness and dedication added more stars onto the shoulders of St. Anselm’s. Under his able guidance and leadership, the school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in a magnificent and extravagant manner. He has been marking his presence by bringing drastic changes in the looks of the school by creating a green lush environment hence making the ambience soothing and pleasant. His dynamism inspires the students as well as the teachers to persistently chase excellence. His generosity and benevolence has created a special place in the hearts of all the students and staff members. His plans are not just plans. They are his dreams. This shepherd is still guiding way to the students and staff members to excel in all fields with utmost sincerity and dedication.
The school is still running successfully with the mission of educating the citizens of India and gives a helping hand towards the development of our nation. The school has been further expanded with the number running to 3800 students and with a well-qualified staff of 126 in number. We aim at giving emphasis on every activity such as academics, Physical Education, Computer Education and giving importance to the psychological and spiritual development of the students giving utmost priority to character building. The school caters to the multidimensional faculties of the child. The school has upgraded itself with the coming of CCE and the New Education policy brought in by the CBSE in the academic year 2017-18. The school has also laid special emphasis on Formative and Summative Assessments. Co-scholastic activities are also given equal importance to help the child in creative learning in all spheres of education such as music, dance, painting, art, theatre, information technology, NCC, etc.
